Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you use the BR West Palm Beach Masonry & Concrete website or hire us for masonry or concrete work. By browsing our home page or any other page, sending us a request or accepting an estimate, you agree to them.
If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If a signed agreement for your job says something different from these terms, the signed agreement wins for that job.
The work we do
BR West Palm Beach Masonry & Concrete is a masonry contractor in West Palm Beach, FL. We repair and build brick, block, stone and concrete work, including foundation repair, tuckpointing, driveway pavers, retaining walls, walkways and outdoor kitchens. You can read more about our crew on our about page.
We work in West Palm Beach and the cities around it. Listing a service or a city on the site doesn't promise we can take every job, because scope, timing and site conditions decide what we can do for you.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and done at your property, and asking for one puts you under no obligation. We price the job from what we can see and measure on the visit, so the estimate covers the work described in it and nothing more.
Some conditions only show up once the job is open, like rotted footings, hidden cracks or old repairs behind a wall. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you and agree on the change with you in writing before we go on.
Prices on the site, in conversation or in an estimate aren't final until they're written into your agreement, because material costs and site conditions can change between the visit and the start date.
Scheduling and cancellation
We'll give you a start date and our best idea of how long the job runs, but those dates can move. Rain, heat, material deliveries, curing time and conditions we find on site all affect the schedule, and we'll tell you as soon as we know a date has changed.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, let us know as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for those costs as your written agreement sets out.
Your property and access
You confirm that you own the property or have the owner's permission for the work. Please give our crew safe access to the work area and tell us about anything we can't see, such as sprinkler lines, private wiring, septic parts or past drainage problems, so we can work around them.
Any permits, approvals or association sign-offs that your job needs are handled as written in your agreement. If the agreement doesn't cover them, they stay your responsibility.
Payment terms
Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are set out in your written agreement. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid, and you may owe reasonable costs we have to spend collecting it, as Florida law allows.
Our work and what it doesn't cover
We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work with a satisfaction guarantee on every job. If something isn't right, call us and we'll come look and work with you to make it right.
Brick, stone and pavers are natural or manufactured materials, so color, texture and size vary from piece to piece and from one batch to the next. Concrete and mortar can show small hairline cracks as they cure and age, and that's normal for the material, not a defect.
Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from storms, flooding, tree roots, ground movement under areas we didn't prepare, misuse, heavy vehicles on surfaces not built for them, or work done later by someone else. Beyond what's written here and in your agreement, we make no other promises, stated or implied, about the work.
Information on this website
The site explains our services and the trade in general terms. It isn't engineering, legal or permit advice for your property, because every house and every job is different, so please don't rely on it in place of an estimate or a professional's review.
We try to keep the site accurate and working, but we provide it as is and don't promise it will always be available, current or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
To the extent Florida law allows, BR West Palm Beach Masonry & Concrete isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your property, lost income or costs from delays.
Our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
If we disagree
Most problems get solved with a phone call, so please call us first and give us a fair chance to look at it and fix it. If we can't settle it together, either of us may take it to the courts described below, including small claims court where it qualifies.
Florida law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any court case about them will be brought in the courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed agreement unless we both agree in writing.
